  Birth: 1867 Death: 1940 --------------------------------------- From Marcia Payne: From Tresoar website; Ynskje (Boersma) Alberda, born in the municipality of Wymbritseradeel, Friesland, the Netherlands; born 22 May 1866 to (father)-Doede Boersma and Lolkje Dijkstra, her mother. Her parents married in the same municipality on 09 May 1857; her father was 27y, born at Gauw and her mother was 26y, born at Oppenhuizen. They had a total of (11) children, including a set of twins (son and dau.) Ynskje was #5, having (5) brothers and (5) sisters. Ynskje's mother (Lolkjen Dijkstra) died 21 Nov 1906, municipality of Wonseradeel, married. Her father,(Doede Douwes Boersma) died 25 Nov 1922 at 93y, municipality of Wymbritseradeel, a widower. All (5) of her sister's eventually married in Friesland. Ynskje Boersma is her research and legal name in Friesland, I had a tough time figuring out that Alberda was her married name, used in the United States; anyways she married in Sneek, Friesland on 21 Feb 1892, at 25y, she was born in Oppenhuizen, municipality of Wymbritseradeel, to the above mentioned parents. Ynskje's husband was Jentje Alberda, son of Klaas Eeltjes Alberda and his wife, Tietje Fokkes van der Meer. Jentje was 30y and born at Loenga, municipality of Wymbritseradeel, Friesland. Together they had son, Klaas b. 1892, son, Doede b. 1895, son Titus, b. 1896, and a daughter Tietje Alberda born 1898; all born at Sneek. I found an obituary, Worc. T&G, dated 23 July 1991, concerning her only daughter's death, Tillie (Alberda) Kramer at 93y.
