All bible verses about creation in the New Testament

Creation in the New Testament. In the whole New Testament the creation by God, as described in Genesis, is firmly confirmed and totally taken for granted and not in any way questioned at all; in many cases it is implicitly assumed, a presumption, and therefore not even always explicitly mentioned; as can be seen, it was generally accepted as the absolute truth, meaning the factual and historical truth about how everything came into being. This also includes and totally assumes original sin, the Fall by Adam and Eve, by which all men are sinners. The Gospel, and why Jesus died, took place because of what historically and factually happened. Where the New Testament speaks about sin and why Jesus came and what He solved with His sacrifice, Genesis is sometimes explicitly mentioned, but on far more occasion it is implicitly assumed. In the table below, all the Bible verses in the New Testament are summed up that mention something with respect to creation or any verses that have something to do with it or are of importance to the subject.
Bible verse Bible text (NASB translation) Explanation (by Gertim)
Matthew 1: 1-17 The record of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham. This whole genealogy is clearly referring to the Old Testament all the way back to Abraham and confirming its historical facts. It seemingly contradicts the one shown in Luke 3, but it doesn’t. Here the genealogy of Joseph is written, the husband of Mary, by whom Jesus was born. In Luke the one of the father in law of Joseph is shown, Mary’s father (the genealogy of Mary). This one shows how Jesus decended from David and from Abraham through his father’s line, Joseph. The one in Luke shows that He also through His mother’s line descended from David, so that there can be no discussion that he descended from David (in Jewish tradition one is only considered to be a Jew if one is born from a Jewish mother).
Matthew 3: 9-10 “For I (John the baptist) say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham.” Referring to the power of Jesus, being the Creator, of being able to really change stones into children of Abraham. It also shows that what seemed impossible to them, namely to raise spiritual children (believers) as children to Abraham (not real ones), really has happened. Abraham is namely also the father of every believer (compare Galatians 3: 7, 29).
Matthew 4: 3 And the tempter (the devil) came and said to Him (Jesus): “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” The devil very well knew the power of Jesus and that He was able, being the Creator, to indeed change stones into bread. That is why it was a real temptation, because if He couldn’t do so, it would have been totally useless to ask, for not being tempting at all then, and the devil was really trying to tempt him with it.
Matthew 5: 45 He causes His sun to rise on the evil and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous He is actively, maintainingly in control of sunrise and making it rain (all natural processes), because He created it and, and only He as Creator can.
Matthew 6: 26 Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? God feeds the birds, moreover He takes care of people. He provides ‘food on the table’ and that the earth yields enough of it its crop. He can make this sure because he created it and is therefore capable of it.
Matthew 6: 28-30 Observe how the lilies on the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more cloth you? You of little faith. He takes care of the ‘clothing‘ of lilies and of grass and so even more of the clothing of people. It shows that God as Creator activily supports His creation and we don’t have to worry about clothes.
Matthew 10: 29-31 Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall on the ground apart from your Father. But the hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows. It shows that God takes care of the sparrows/birds and we are of much more worth, so He will actively keep and maintains us, which He can only do because He is the Creator and has the power to do so.
Matthew 11: 25 At that time Jesus said: “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth…” The title 'Lord of heaven and earth’ with which Jesus addresses His Father, shows control and ownership of His Father over everything created.
Matthew 13: 35 Since the foundation of the world Shows that creation was actively planned and carried out in the realization of it. It was by no means the result of sheer luck and chance by chaos or a big bang. It was carefully and deliberately created by God as He described in His word, the Bible.
Matthew 19: 4-6 And He (Jesus) answered and said ‘Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said “For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined with his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So, they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” Jesus clearly and very normally acknowledges and confirms creation, including the creation of men, man and female, as an inseparable unity, as described. ‘Have you not read’ refers to Genesis 2:24.
Matthew 22: 36-38 Teacher, which is the greatest command in the law? And He said to Him, “You shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment.” This shows that the dialectic view of theistic evolution, which claims that, on the one hand practically believing in God is possible, and on the other hand that one can theoretically be convinced with one’s mind in evolution, is impossible. In such case it is namely totally impossible to love God the way He wants to be loved, because it requires the mind also, in fact everything. According to the Bible one cannot split heart, soul and mind. It acts as a unity and God wants totally dedicated love from a person (His creature) as a whole.
Matthew 25: 34 … inherit the kingdom prepared from the foundation of the world. Foundation of the world always means, in the Bible, creation of the world as described in Genesis.
Matthew 28: 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and in earth.” This says Jesus is in control of everything, having authority over heaven and earth, which was given to Him by His father, which implies Jesus (not in His human form of course, because He had not taken on flesh yet, but as member of the trinity God) is also the creator, having the authority to create by His word alone, and calm the storm and make the sea and the wind listen to Him, etc.

Mark 4: 39-41 And He (Jesus) got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They became very much afraid and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?” The waters obeyed Him already before in Genesis, where it is described that first the Spirit of God was moving over the waters (Genesis 1:2 ) and later God separated the waters from the waters; and it was so (Genesis 1:6-7). He also said: “Let the waters be gathered into one place… and the gathering of waters he called seas (Genesis 1: 10).” So, no wonder that the sea and the wind listen to the Creator here. As creator He commands things into being by his word (which is also what most of the times happened with the miracles of Jesus; He spoke and it was).
Mark 10: 6-9 “But (Jesus said) from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and the two shall become one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate” Jesus confirms creation, as written in Genesis, including the creation of man and wife, as intended by God as an inseparable unity. It is therefore the only Godly approved foundation of a family; man and wife.
Mark 12: 30 (Jesus answered) “… And you shall love the Lord your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This forms a big problem to who is convinced that things came into being completely differently than how it was written in Genesis, for example by evolution. The mind is of-track and won’t work together, yet rather against it, because one departs from what God revealed in Genesis, which is an act of rebellion against God, namely in daring to think it must have gone differently from what God said. It is bending more for science than for God. God wants the whole person, including his mind.
Mark 13: 19 “For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will. In general, something created needs a creator. Jesus says that God is the one who created the creation.
Mark 16: 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” With this Jesus of course confirms creation in general and that mankind was created.

Luke 3: 8 “For I (John the baptist) say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham.” Referring to the enormous power of God to create, of really being able to change stones (dead material) into children of Abraham. It also shows that what seemed impossible to them, that it is possible to raise spiritual children (believers) as children to Abraham, has indeed happened. Abraham namely is also the father of every believer (compare Galatians 3: 7, 29).
Luke 3: 38 … the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. Genealogy of Jesus, through the genealogy of Mary (often only men are named in Jewish genealogy). So, when it says ‘as was supposed, the son of Joseph’, that points to the father in law of Joseph, so the father of Mary. Matthew shows the direct genealogy of Josef, the man of Mary. Luke shows the one of Mary and so through both family trees, Jesus genealogy, human wise, is from David. It also shows that Jesus descended from Adam, who was the son of God (in the meaning of created by God). Jesus is, in the Bible, also called the son of God, so that is also what this is confirming.
Luke 8: 24-25 They came to Jesus and woke Him up, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And He got up and rebuked the wind and the surging waves, and they stopped, and it became calm. And He said to them, “Where is your faith?” They were fearful and amazed, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?” The wind and water obey to their Creator, as in Genesis.
Luke 10: 27-28 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” And He (Jesus) said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this and you will live.” A human being is considered to be a unity (by the Bible) and can not be separated, for example when being convinced with the mind that the earth came into being by evolution, which is totally contradictory to what God said. Then it becomes impossible to fully love God, the way He wants it, but it also can hardly be called believing in Him. The Bible does not acknowledge such a separation at all, on the contrary. It confirms that a human being works as a unity and God therefore wants and expects love from him as a whole being, because the mind can and will work against it, when contradicting it.
Luke 11: 50 Since the foundation of the world Shows that creation was actively planned and carried out in the realization of it. The world was founded, as described in Genesis.
Luke 12: 27-29 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow it is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith! He takes care of clothing of the lilies and of grass and so even more of people. It shows that God as Creator actively supports His creation and we don’t have to worry about clothes.
Luke 17: 25-27 (Jesus) “And Just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.” Jesus confirms Genesis, Noah and the flood, as historical facts and Jesus goes on telling about Lot, etc, totally and normally assuming it has happened as described in Genesis.
Luke 17: 25-27 “Remember Lot’s wife. Whosoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whosoever loses his life will preserve it. Totally assumption and confirmation that this happened as described in Genesis. Also referring to he who looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9:26) and who seeks to keep his life will lose it (Luke 9: 23,24, Luke 14: 26, 27).

John 1: 1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life wast the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. The comparison with Genesis 1 is strikingly clear. The Word, the Logos, referring to Jesus, who was in the beginning with God. So, it is saying that all things were made by Jesus (but then not in his bodily appearance of course, but as part of the Trinity, God, strictly not having the name Jesus yet, but you understand what I mean; It was Him who created!). The life that he brought, is compared to the light that shined in the darkness Genesis (which is by no reason to read Genesis only figuratively and not literally).
John 1: 9-12 There was the true Light, which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, Again referring to Jesus, as Person of the Trinity, who was the Creator of the world, and the true Light.
John 1: 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. This makes even more clear that the Word, as mentioned earlier, talks Jesus. He became flesh, by coming to this earth and taking on a human body. Jesus was the Word.
John 1: 15 (John the baptist) “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’ ” John was born before Jesus, so how can he say that Jesus was before him? Because He existed from eternity on, and therefore was before him, although born later in the flesh, and given the name Jesus.
John 1: 30 (John the baptist) “After me comes a Man who has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.” The only explanation is that Jesus is God (one person of the trinity), and was from eternity on.

Acts 14: 15 (Paul and Barnabas saying when when the people of Lystra wanted to bring sacrifices to them as if they were gods ) “Men, why you doing these things? We are also men of the same nature as you, and preach the gospel to you that you should turn from these vain thing to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them.” Paul and Barnabas confirm that God is the Creator.
Acts 17: 24-26 (Paul on the Areopagus speaking to Atheans) “and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’ ” Every human being and all mankind originate from one man, Adam, created by God himself. This excludes evolution. It would be absurd and foolish and blasphemy to say that God created and used evolution by which he, somehow mysteriously created Adam and Eve and with that speaks against his own testimony of Him who was there himself, as Creator and one and only eye witness.

Romans 1: 18-21 (Paul) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. The Word of God says here that it should be completely evident to everyone that God is the Creator. It can and should be seen from everything he has made, and therefore no one has any excuse, even when not having heard the Gospel yet (although, in His mercy, He decided yet to come back until the gospel has been preached in the whole world; Matthew 24: 14).
Romans 1: 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper… When one can and should know, from creation itself, that God is the Creator and if such a person decides not to acknowledge that any longer, to abandon that, God will give them over to a depraved mind, with the consequences described in the verses 29-32. This also addresses theistic-evolutionists, who abandoned the testimony of God, denying it and having ‘converted’ to the evolutionist belief system and with that are no longer acknowledging God as Creator, although they still say they do, but they, in the mean while, have changed the definition and meaning of creating (creation by evolution).
Romans 5: 12-15 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned – for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. Referring to Adam and the Fall. Adam is a type of Jesus. By one man came sin (Adam), by one man many may live (Jesus), that is; all who believe in Him. This requires that it went as described in Genesis about Adam and Eve.
Romans 5: 17-19 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. One man (Adam ) brought sin, condemnation and death. The Other Man (Jesus) brought righteousness, justification and life. This requires that it went as described in Genesis about Adam and Eve.
Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Refers to Genesis, which describes that sin brought forth death. God freely offers eternal life. All that is needed is believing in Jesus Christ, which, of course, totally implies that He came, because of the problem of sin and to solve that once and for all.
Romans 8: 19-22 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from it slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. This describes the effects of God’s curse of creation, because of sin, and its promised future deliverance. That deliverance takes places when the sons of God finally are revealed. Sons of God are His redeemed people, real believers, written in the book of the Lamb (the book of life). The complete revelation of the Sons of Gods refers to the period described in Revelations 20:11- 22:5, because then there is a new heaven and a new earth and the curse of the old earth, and of sin and of death has come to an end. Not only the world, but also believers are groaning to be clothed with our dwelling in heaven (read: 2 Corinthians 5: 2-10).
Romans 9: 20-22 Who are you, o man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, “Why did you make me like this, will it?” This text assumes that man is created, molded by God and we have no right to question God (think of Job and how God finally answered him)
Romans 11: 36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. It clearly says God is the Creator and gives Him glory for that. To really give God glory, He must be acknowledged and believed as creator, the way He said He created.

1 Corinthians 2: 7 but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages of our glory; The wisdom of God, through knowing Jesus and having Gods spirit, is something God prepared before the world began.
1 Corinthians 8: 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him. The Father from who all things are and the son, Jesus, by whom all things are. Jesus created all things (not ‘in the flesh’, but as part of the Trinity. Jesus was the Word, John 1).
1 Corinthians 11: 8-9 For man does not originate from woman, but woman from man. For indeed man was not created for the woman’s sake, but the woman for the man’s sake. This talks about Adam and that Eve was created from him, from his rib, and for him; to be a help at his side.
1 Corinthians 12: 24 … But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, God has composed the body himself. For that He formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and that’s how man became a living being.
1 Corinthians 15: 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. Refers to the real historical sin of Adam, still having its effect, namely causing death.
1 Corinthians 15: 45-49 So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven. As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. Just as we are borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly. A direct comparison is made between Adam and the last Adam, Jesus. This acknowledges that Adam was created, as described in Genesis.
2 Corinthians 4: 6 For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. This should not be explained as if Genesis could be figuratively interpreted, or mainly describing the process of conversion. No, ‘who said’ means that God was really actually spoke, saying “Let there be light and there was light”. It is a foreshadowing of how God shines light in the heart of someone who becomes a believer, but that does not mean that this would be the primary and most important way we should understand Genesis and make the rest of lesser importance. No, the actual historical meaning remains the primary and most important message of all.

Galatians 6: 15 For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. Becoming a believer is becoming a new creation, referring also to creation in the way that it also is a work of creation by God in our heart; a mircale itself.

Ephesians 1: 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. Believers are predestined before the foundation of the world. If He chose us before the foundation, it is implied that He himself is the founder, the Creator.
Ephesians 1: 10 the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, All things in heaven and earth are in Christ.
Ephesians 2: 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. The work of God in us, is seen as His workmanship, his creation; a new creation. God predestined it; prepared it beforehand, that is; before the foundation of the earth.
Ephesians 3: 9 and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; God created all things, which implies he created all things exactly the way He said He created all things (by Jesus Christ). The Bible gives us no reason at all to doubt this. Not at all, it rather constantly, and in all places, confirms it. Nota Bene: In the translations based on the Textus Receptus it explicitly says that the world was created 'by Jesus Christ' (see pop-up text). One must be very sure that this has been added to the original Greek, and does not belong there, to leave that out (and not give a thorough explanation/justification why it was left out in a Bible translation).
Ephesians 4: 24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness and truth. Refers to Genesis where man was originally good and created in the likenes of God, so is the ‘new self’, a new creation.
Ephesians 5: 31 For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. Quoting Genesis 2:24. As man and wife will make one inseparable bond, so will eventually Christ (the Bridegroom) and all true Christians, His bride. That is why vs. 32 says: This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. Again, this does not mean that Genesis should be read non-literal.

Colossians 1: 13-17 For He (the Father) rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have the redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He (the Son) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him (the Son) all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. From the darkness into the light (the kingdom of His Son). Jesus is the firstborn of those who are in Him, for in and by Jesus we, believers, are a new creation (see Rom. 8: 29). So, He is the firstborn among brethren. He also is the firstborn of all creation, because out of Him all things were ‘born’; by Him all things were created; through Him and for Him. So, He was the final cause of everything and also He still upholds and maintains everything by the power of His word. He is the Logos, the reason, the Word.
Colossians 1: 23 if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister. Paul encourages to remain in the faith and not move away from the gospel as proclaimed in all creation. The latter is referring to the implicit assumption that the world was created as described in Genesis, as factually true, and the only possible way by which the Gospel makes sense (namely that Christ died for our sins, because there was indeed sin because of Adam).

1 Timothy 4: 3,4 Men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude. God supplies food, because He created the earth that yields it. Everything He created is good, clearly referring to creation where God constantly says that it was good (Genesis 1: 12, 17, 21, 25, 31). Further more, God says about food in Genesis “I have given every green plant for food” (Genesis 1: 30, Genesis 3: 18). This, by the way, does not mean that we should be vegetarians, because in Genesis 9: 4, God gives a new ordinance to Noah, where He says “Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant. Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
1 Timothy 6: 13 I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, God is the life-giver of all things, that is; the Creator and maintainer of all life and, and therefore also all newly (born/grown) life. He created the life system, the laws of nature by which everything is seemingly going automatically, but it does not. God maintains it and keeps it up, the Bible says. So the miracle of fertilization/fusion, cell growth, birth; it is all because of God. If he would take His hand away, it would all collapse.

Titus 1: 3 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago, but at the proper time manifested, even His word God speaks the truth and nothing but the truth. He cannot lie. As we say ‘half the truth is half a lie’, so would we expect God to tell us half the truth when it actually had gone totally and importantly different (what theists evolutionists believe)? Of course not. The way He said it, it went. This verse also say that eternal life for His children, the ones who believe in Him, was promised and planned by God before the foundation of the earth.

Hebrew 1: 1-3 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of his glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. This confirms that the world was made by the Son and that He (the Son) upholds all things by the word of His power (the Son = Jesus).
Hebrew 1: 10 And, You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of Your hands; This is said of the Son (see Hebrews 1: 8, and now going on with ‘and’). So, the Son is the one who created; it is the works of His hands.
Hebrew 2: 10 For it was fitting to Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings. This, again, is about Jesus (see vs 9 and John 1). ‘From who’ speaks about the Father, ‘for who’ and ‘through who’, which is mentioned here, is about the Son.
Hebrew 4: 3 For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, “As I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter My rest,” although His works were finished from the foundation of the world. Referring to the 7th day, saying ‘finished’ from the foundation of the world. It is talking about the sabbath-rest of which God rested of his work. Believers enter that rest. Read also vs 4-13.
Hebrew 4: 4 For He has said somewhere concerning the seventh day: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works”; Referring to Genesis 2:2 as a fact.
Hebrew 4: 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him whith whom we have to do. All creatures are actively seen and followed by God, which is only possible if He is the almighty, all knowing Creator.
Hebrew 9: 26 Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away the sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Referring to the sacrifice of Jesus which was for once and for all enough. Foundation of the world implies and presumes creation as described in Genesis.
Hebrew 11: 3, 4 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained the testimony that he was righteous. The world was made by God, not made out of things visible. It takes faith to understand it. Not understanding it may therefore very well be a strong sign of disbelieve. Vs 4 is confirming the description in Genesis 4 as historical facts.
Hebrew 11: 6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Believing that He is, implies believing in Him as the Creator, who was from the beginning and still is and always will be, according to His name: the great I am.
Hebrew 12: 27 ...Of those things which can be shaken, as of created things… Again implies that every physical thing (which can be shaken) was created.

James 1: 17, 18 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures. Every good thing comes from the Father above. The word of truth is Jesus, by which we became a now creation, baring fruit God worthy, and therefore the first fruits among His creatures. The latter shows again that He is the Creator and that we are His creatures.
James 2: 21-23 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? You see that faith was working with works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected; and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness” Confirming an historical Abraham as described factually in Genesis 12 and further.
James 3: 9 With it (the tongue) we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God; Confirms that men were created in the likeness of God, as Genesis describes.

1 Peter 4: 19 those also who suffer according to the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right. God, the Creator, is faithful, also when followers of Him have to suffer for His name sake, while doing what is right.

2 Peter 2: 4-7 (Berean translation) For if God did not spare the angels having sinned, but having cast them down to Tartarus (deep abyss), in chains of gloomy darkness, delivered them, being kept for judgment; (NASB) and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
(The Greek word Tartarus, meaning deep abyss, is not the same as the word for hell, which is Gehenna. Often too many words are translated with ‘hell’, even for different Greek words, often meaning different things and so a distinction should be made.) This Bible part confirms Noah and the Flood as described in Genesis 7-9.
2 Peter 3: 4-7 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” Confirms that everything began with creation.

1 John 1: 1, 2 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life — and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us — Clearly John marks this letter with referral to John 1; ‘In the beginning was the word’. Also here it is made clear that ‘what was from the beginning, was the Word of Life, and the life was manifested, seen and touched, and was evidently present. Eternal life, which was with the Father, has been manifested through Jesus, who was the Word, and with God.
1 John 3: 12 not as Cain, who was the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s were righteous. Confirming Genesis 4. Cain and Able were sons of Adam, so it also confirms Adam and Eve.

Jude 1: 14 It was also about these men that Enoch, in the seventh generation of Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His holy ones, to execute judgement upon all, and to convict all the ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” Confirms Enoch, even 7th generations ‘away’ form Adam. It totally confirms Genesis.
Jude 1: 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. God was, is and will be, forever and ever present. He is in control and has authority, which can only be so, because He is the Creator, just the way He described.

Revelation 3: 14 The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this: “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish you were cold or hot.” Jesus is speaking and is named here ‘the beginning of the creation of God’ (see John 1)
Revelation 4: 11 And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Hem who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.” Confirms God as the creator (implies, yet again, as always in the Bible, that it historically went as described in Genesis 1-3). All things were created for Him and by His will.
Revelation 5: 13 And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” Refers to creation in Genesis. Every created thing in the Bible is supposed to be created by the Creator and no-one else, and of course as described in Genesis.
Revelation 8: 9 and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died The creatures in the sea were created, as described in Genesis.
Revelation 10: 6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there will be delay no longer, Confirms that the God created everything (as described in Genesis, again implicitly implied).
Revelation 13: 8 everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain (see also Rev. 17: 8). It shows that creation was actively planned and carried out in the realization of it. The world was founded, which cannot be said of evolution. It also says that the real believers were written in the book of life since the foundation of the world.
Revelation 14: 7 and he said with a loud voice, “Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgement has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and springs of waters.” Fear God for His judgement and give glory to Him for He is the Creator.
Revelation 17: 8 And those who dwell on earth, whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. 2 things. 1. Believers are written in the Book of Life from the beginning of creation. 2. The foundation of the earth; creation implied.
Revelation 21: 23 And the city has no need of the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. It shows that the sun as source is not needed to give Light. God himself, who is Light, can give light and make light shine. In Genesis God did so, without the sun being created yet. Saying that this is impossible and cannot have happened as such, shows serious doubt about the Creator and the way He told us He created.
Revelation 22: 5 And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever. See above.
Revelation 22: 2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for healing of the nations. Refers to the tree of life from Genesis 2:9.
Revelation 22: 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life One may not add or change (take away from) the words of the book of Revelations, but it can be said for the whole Bible. Also look at Proverbs 30:5-6, where it says: ‘Every word of God is tested;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.’ On the clear theme of creation and how it is unambiguously confirmed, one should realize very well, that trying to add evolution to the Bible, and/or claiming that it can be combined and reading things in it which are not written, is a very, very serious matter. God made very clear through his word how it went and saying it actually went differently is going directly against His revelation. Everyone who does that has a big problem. The Bible clearly says: “It is not allowed!”
